Had a great experience at this pizza place! The pizzas were delicious, full of flavour, and cooked perfectly. The garlic bread was amazing and incredibly tasty. Friendly service and a great atmosphere as well. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!
Finally got around to trying the new Sal's Authentic New York Pizza that opened up in Parramatta, and I am glad I did. There had been a bit of buzz about it, so I was keen to see if it lived up to the talk. The verdict? A great slice and a great deal. The pizza slice was absolutely huge, easily enough to fill you up on its own. For what you pay, the value is spot on, the kind of feed that leaves your wallet and your stomach happy. The slice itself was full of flavour with a good base and plenty of topping. It is that proper New York style where the slice is massive and folds over just right. Exactly what you want when you are after a quick and satisfying bite on the go. Having only had a slice so far, I am already keen to go back and try one of their full pizzas. If the slice is anything to go by, the whole pizzas would definitely be worth checking out for a group or to share. If you are in Parramatta and after a solid slice at a great price, give Sal's a go. I will be back for more. Highly recommend.
As native New Yorkers living in regional Australia, we can happily vouch for Sal’s pizza being the real deal. We usually make a point to drop by Sal’s while we are in Sydney to get our taste of home, and this was our first time to the newly opened Parramatta location. The staff were friendly, welcoming and accommodating to our large order. Because we’re travelling a few hours and asked for the pies (NY terminology) to be slightly undercooked for later reheating, they double checked with us that it was cooked to our liking. We enjoyed a Nonna and cheese slice with garlic knots while we waited for our Brooklyn pies (authentic Italian meat trio) to be done. I also want to give a shout out to the buffalo wings with real American ranch (best buffalo flavour we’ve had in Australia). Highly recommend. If you don’t like this, you don’t like NY pizza.
Nice to have a by the slice pizza place in Parra! Amazing if you want a quick snack while walking around the river / around Parra square. Authentic NY pizza from a chain popular in the USA.
Had a 18” pizza takeaway around 9:30’s. Pizza is great with good topping options. The service is immaculate, great at suggestion and kind enough to customize few slices for us. Had a pepperoni slice while waiting and it is as good as I remember. Waiting time was around 20 minute as the girl was working alone but worth the wait.
