Been craving pizza from our younger days for years and I could not find it anywhere in Sydney. One random uber drive where the driver recommended this place and BOOM. Welcome back to the 2000s -or dare I say it, the 1990s. Proof? They use the thin sliced ham that you don’t get anywhere else. Everyone these days uses either the flat big pieces or the fat, the base is the old school one that isn’t super thin -not thick like the dominos or Pizza Hut one, toppings not Lebanese style (which is also yum but a completely different craving), but that lovely in between that is really rare around our area. Run by really sweet no-nonsense older Albanian guys. No smarmy hipster chatter, these guys are warm, honest, and to the point. That’s always a sign the food is awesome. They remind me of my parents and their generation -except well, mine are Asian and they’re Albanian lol. The food is freaking good. As millennials, I think we tend to chase hype a lot, but as someone with restaurant parents, it’s so important to remember these places that are usually found through word of mouth. We haven’t eaten in but stop by to pick up. My husband is a massive pizza snob, and he usually likes the traditional Italian stuff BUT he really likes the special menu items with Albanian flavours. I go for the oldies like Supreme and Hawaiian. Highly recommend it.
I've been a long time customer and have loved each and every experience. I've previously tried the Taste of Armenia pizza 🇦🇲 and loved it Thought I'd try the Thai Chicken pizza tonight and wasn't disappointed. Fresh ingredients, delicious pizza and great value as always. Run by a great bunch of blokes who love making pizza. Highly recommend Zappi's. Always good 👍
Ordered the Vegetarian Pumpking Patch pizza. It was delicious and one of the tastiest pizzas i have had. The service was also great and quite fast. Highly recommend!!
The pizza was delicious and the staff were very nice.
That guy was grumpy and felt like I'm taking pizza for free. I bloody paid for the pizza. Guy on the counter was grumpy and got the burnt pizza. I should have gone to MadToppings. Never ever going there. Very disappointed.
