Jumbo Burger still my GOAT after twenty years. I remember coming to this ogalo back in the day after a few drinks. We'd smash down extra chili and obsess over that chicken salt. I am so glad it stood the test of time honestly they deliver a fantastic product.
Very clean and tidy, facilities to wash your hands, staff were extremely courteous and the meal was very generous. Definately my favorite fast food! Thank you team!
I know this has recently come into new ownership and it’s great that they’ve done things like put it on eat club. However, it consistently takes significantly too long for food to be made. They seem to be perpetually under staffed and also don’t serve everything on the menu (eg no halloumi). Honestly it’d be faster to go to the supermarkets and then cook food yourself at home. I ordered food ahead of time to ensure a quick pickup and have been waiting for over 20 minutes (+ food was ordered 20 mins before that) and still haven’t received my food. Please stop trying to cut costs and operate a fully functioning food chain.
I am genuinely questioning the real intentions and professionalism of the manager at this restaurant. Despite an order issue that was not intentional and occurred during a day of severe storms in Sydney, I personally made every effort to remain professional. I hurried to the restaurant, arrived with a smile, and was focused on one thing only: making sure the customer would be delivered as quickly as possible despite the delay. That professionalism was met with the exact opposite. The manager yelled at me aggressively, refused to listen to any explanation, and showed complete contempt. What is even more concerning is that he did not even bother to hand over the order, preventing the customer from being served quickly and satisfactorily all because he chose confrontation over problem-solving. As a delivery driver, this is my livelihood. Errors or delays do not benefit me in any way. Yet instead of trying to understand where the issue came from, this manager immediately chose to humiliate and attack. During extreme weather conditions, when drivers are already exposed to real danger on the road, this lack of empathy and basic human respect is unacceptable. An accident could have happened and clearly, that was of no concern to him. This experience raises serious concerns about how delivery drivers are treated here. Before “going after” people, it would be wise to first ensure who is actually responsible for the problem. Respect, professionalism, and common sense were completely absent. 🤨
The place in under new management and for someone who doesn't leave many reviews I had to this time as they're back to the great ogalos of 10 years ago. I'd given up on both Lane Cove and Crows Nest as the quality went down massively but after trying out this one now twice while under new management I had to give 5 stars. I can't wait to come back.
