Had the chicken schnitzel lunch special at the Iron Duke today and was genuinely impressed. At $16, it’s excellent value and the quality exceeded my expectations for a pub meal. The schnitzel was cooked well with a nice crunch, and the portion was satisfying. I was surprised the place wasn’t busier given how good the deal is. They run three lunch specials Monday to Friday from 11am–3pm: chicken schnitzel ($16), grilled chicken burger ($14), and a chicken or halloumi salad ($15). All very reasonably priced. The pub itself has a great atmosphere too—relaxed but with good energy. I can imagine it being a solid spot for after-work drinks. Will definitely be back.

The roast of the day was excellent. Moist and tender pork (2 generous slices) with crunchy crackling with fresh cooked veg (potato, pumpkin and broccolini) Highly recommended.

Had my 30th birthday here and it was such a great night. Everything from the food to the service and the overall vibe was exactly what I was hoping for. Chris and the team made the whole process very smooth and enjoyable. Would 100% recommend the Iron Duke for any celebration.

Been here a few times over the years. Always a positive experience. Burgers are simple, yet great in all the ways it matters. Chips are crispy. Beer and wine taplist is always top notch. Great serving staff. Outdoor area is super nice. Highly recommend this one

This a great family owned pub, with excellent friendly service and delicious food. The family has owned Iron Duke since the 80’s.
