This bar is a scam. We were waiting to play the snooker and one of the staff member said you can play last game of the pool so we paid for the both pool as we were four friends. As soon as we paid for the pool they said the pool is closed. And when we try to explain they brought the security to send us out. Really terrible experience for the first visit. We dont suggest anyone to go here. Other Pub oppposite to the station is far better with great service.
I have to say we just happened to have a few drinks at this place while we killed some time for a wedding reception and let me tell you customer service was amazing the staff were incredible and looked after us very well. This pub has now earned my full respect and it's an awesome place to spend time with the lads. The manager Jay was outstanding and it's a pleasure and also refreshing to have customer service as Jay did. I give this pub 5 star for customer service 5 star for location and 5 star for all the staff.
Great pub , great happy hour beer prices, all the people that work there are excellent all the bar staff and the security, they all genuinely look after you especially Kritisha, she is so professional in everything she does , makes you feel so welcome, she has the best customer service like you are in a 5 star international hotel , I always have a great time at the Royal hotel , I love being there
Absolute terrible customer service from the bouncer and bartender. We just wanted to have drinks while having a game of pool. They first agreed to let us in and all of sudden said that we arent allowed to stay there but to stay only at smoking area (we are none smokers). This is not just terrible customer service but also losing business of a group of eight people. Shame
Horrible experience here, you are not welcomed and the short old lady had a staring problem as well as the staff, not a great atmosphere here, the staff will stare at you as if you are doing something wrong. Only one staff member was nice out of everyone else working there. No enthusiasm at all and it made me feel uncomfortable.
