The Buena is an absolute standout. The food is excellent across the board, clearly made with quality ingredients and real attention to detail, and the service is just as impressive—friendly, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. The fries deserve a special mention: perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and easily some of the best around. A fantastic spot where great food and great service come together effortlessly.
Back again at Bistro Mosman in The Buena, and it still delivers. Saturday night around 9pm and the place was buzzing, full energy, great crowd, and a big 50th birthday taking over the courtyard which gave the whole venue such a lively, celebratory feel. It is one of those spots that works just as well for an intimate dinner as it does for a larger event. The wait staff are fantastic. Service is always spot on. Attentive, warm, and they handle a packed room effortlessly. Food continues to impress. The steak was cooked perfectly, exactly how it should be, and the prawn risotto was rich, flavourful and beautifully balanced. And then the honey cake, the standout!! ❤️Light, layered, not overly sweet, paired perfectly with the ice cream. Easily one of the best desserts around. Only ask, bring back the chocolate tart. It deserves a return.
Family of five from the US needing dinner. Walked into The Buena and found a table in the bar area. Ordering was easy and food and drinks were quick and good. Even had a gluten free beer
We attended a function at The Atrium (upstairs) n were so impressed we headed back for dinner the following week. Staff are great, food is great and cocktails are great. Its gets very busy, so I suggest you reserve a table. You can also hire a space in The Atrium for private functions. Will be back again.
We had a highly engaging experience at the Buena. The wait staff really cared about how we were going, and it was beyond our expectations. We really liked the guidance from Mitch and his knowledge of the wine list. Food was excellent, and overall it was perhaps better than fine dining in any location in Sydney. Well done Buena. PS: the Charlie chaplin cocktail is excellent.
