I've been here a couple of times and the food is amazing! I haven't stopped thinking about the brownie, it was unreal. The steak was cooked perfectly, and they make fantastic pasta. The restaurant is always clean and has a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

This place has a great vibe. Staff are friendly and helpful. Bistro & Grill area with Rooftop area very upmarket feel to it. Food was great. Huge variety and they change up their menus as well and decently priced. Would go again without a doubt.

I have to give a shout out to the management team at The Governor for helping me create a beautiful 30th birthday celebration last Friday night. I had originally booked a table for 20 people on the rooftop as I didn’t know how many people would come. In the booking I had asked for indoor seating if possible. When we arrived, I had been allocated three tables upstairs in a corner space, it was very windy and although the atmosphere all around was nice, the tables were high tables with bar stools, were disjointed and it was cold. I went inside to talk to the manager and he informed me there was no indoor seating available on the rooftop but maybe they would try to get some heaters for the space. After having a look they were unfortunately not able to get more heaters, but the manager offered me to move the booking to a private function space downstairs which did have heaters available. He helped me move my stuff, turned on the heaters and helped set up the tables, putting on table cloths and all decorations so they looked great. At first the atmosphere wasn’t as nice because there was no DJ but once more people arrived the space worked perfectly. The food menu on the ground floor was the full menu but for some reason it didn’t have pizzas; however the management team told us we were able to order from the rooftop if we would be willing to bring them downstairs later on. We ordered a few pizzas and my partner went to pick them up and one of the waiters helped bring down a couple of pizzas as well. The managers were also very nice helping us turn the heaters on and off as they got too warm after a while. Everyone really enjoyed the event and the space was private and worked perfectly specially considering there was a 5 year old child present, so the enclosed space meant she could run around. I was a bit disappointment there wasn’t more GF options and when I tried to ask for GF salt and pepper squid I was told the chef couldn’t make it GF. I ordered a salmon for myself instead which was delicious and I was told the rest of the food was good as well. But overall I had a fantastic time and I’m very grateful to the management team for helping me set up in an alternative space, which worked even better than I had originally planned !

Tech Data Advanced Solutions partnered with Kids With Cancer Foundation for our annual Sales Kick of Activity. We hosted the event at The Governor Hotel - Roof Top Bar. The service received from Ameila and team was 10 /10. They are responsive, friendly, accommodating. We have returned for the 2nd time and it just gets better! Thank you team for making our event so memorable.

What a beautiful hidden gem! We celebrated a birthday at Governor Hotel and absolutely loved it. Such a gorgeous place near Macquarie Park with three levels of entertainment and stunning interiors. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, the food is delicious and the prices are really good for such quality. Everything feels stylish, cozy and special. Highly recommend this place for celebrations or just a lovely night out. We’ll definitely be back!
