This is such a great value for money Australian pub in a fabulous location with a great vibe. Sunday lunch is excellent and there are loads of choices of seating; out front overlooking the road, the courtyard and inside as well as in the restaurant. Food choices include 3 salads with optional salmon or chicken for protein, 3 Sunday roasts, entrees like squid, pastas and more. And three desserts. Excellent bottles of wine priced super affordably. Excellent live music and service:
Spent a Sunday afternoon at the pub. The Sunday Roast is fantastic. Old school Reschs on tap and the wine list is reasonably priced. Over indulged with a side of chips with curry sauce - delicious!
As one of Balmain’s many pubs the London is super popular and always busy. Its expanded outdoor space is always full as is the balcony from which if you’re lucky you get harbour views. Sometimes live music and good pub food makes this a favourite for locals and visitors to the Peninsula. Dog friendly.
We went for Sunday lunch and had the pork and beef roasts and they were fantastic. We highly recommend the pub for lunch.
Great Sunday roast at the London, possibly my favourite in Sydney to date. The ham was delicious as was the pork. Very busy on the Sunday so was hard to get a table with our dog but was able to sit at the bar and eat with the dog at our feet which was perfect. Can’t wait to go back.
