We recently held my wife’s 60th birthday celebration in the upstairs function area at The Terminus Hotel, and the entire experience was outstanding. From the initial booking through to organising the food and drinks, the process was seamless. Maddie was prompt, professional, and incredibly helpful in answering our many questions, which made the planning completely stress-free. On the night, the staff were exceptional — attentive, friendly, and well organised. Every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. Our 50 guests were genuinely impressed with both the venue and the overall atmosphere. The Terminus Hotel offers a beautiful, warm, and welcoming environment with a great vibe. It’s conveniently located and offers excellent value for money. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough for a special function or celebration.
A beautifully refurbished old pub with a fascinating history. Great food... really, the beef cheeks alone are worth the visit... interesting wine list and lots of good beers on tap. A top spot for a drink and a chat.
We used the Terminus Hotel upstairs area for the reception for our wedding at the registry. It was a fantastic venue that 100% met our expectations. Maddie was amazing from beginning to end. She answered the myriad of questions my now wife had, and was always patient and polite. There were a LOT of questions from a nervous bride. The venue was setup beautifully and as we asked. They were able to store some things for us prior to the wedding, and were flexible in how we picked things up after the wedding. The staff were amazing on the night, nothing was a problem. They helped us to find some efficiencies in our wedding which was a surprise. Everyone else tried to get us to spend more money. Things ran to plan and they helped in every aspect. Everyone said they had a great night, that's all we wanted The food was amazing and they paced the service of food really well I'd 100% recommend the Terminus for a wedding celebration.
The hotel is quite nice. Right next to the Terminus Pub. The rooms are quite small but still nice. The service is amazing and the people who run the pub and hotel are very lovely and helpful. It's located only a 5 minute walk from the warf where you can see a beautiful view of the harbour. Highly recommend coming here.
All the reviews are for special occasions and only contain reviews about food and drinks This establishment also advertises accommodation which I am reviewing The room was like a prison cell The room consisted of the following a bed and iron and nothing else like a chair, TV, wardrobe, coffee or tea making facilities The shower room was even worse the toilet had no seat cover the shower rail was about 3m off the floor so the gap between bottom of the curtain and floor was 1.5m this caused the floor to flood which turned the whole area into a total slippery surface The shower head was connected to the shower with a piece of garden hose which had no flexibility and the shower head would not fit into the holder The cost of the room was over 200 per night how this accommodation ever got signed off by compliance people is hard to believe Beware before you book
