Solid spot - decent food, service not as prompt as other branches but flavours are there. Bit more run down than the surrounding stores but decent food. Didn’t like the katsu as much, prefer different batter, the tonkotsu was nice though.
This used to be one of the nicer places for Ramen in the area, however, it is no longer the case. For nearly $50 on a Sunday with their 10% surcharge, this was only enough for one person. Okay, a fat person, but still. The food is good but not extraordinary. The price really kills it. Somehow, the chicken saves the day at a Ramen shop. Shown is a bowl of "three pieces", when in reality I got 4, one piece was massive. The chicken was really tasty. The protein chasu portions are tiny. Comparatively, a $30 bowl of Ramen elsewhere (likely anywhere) will include more protein. What a shame.
Started off as one of the best ramen places to have opened up in this area. Sadly though the competition has stepped up but the quality of the ramen here has deteriorated. The chasu are frequently overdone so it's tough and taste more like oven roast pork. Eggs arent as well marinated and tasty as they used to be. Perhaps the care isn't there but prices have gone up. The noodles and broth are great still. We suspect the broth uses some fish oil based ingredients due to constant issue with allergens so for those affected worth checking and being mindful to choose carefully. When ordering, many ingredients found in other ramen shops are missing as standard. For example no seaweed as standard as this price, there's much better value elsewhere. You have to go for higher options which can get costly for a bowl of noodles. Value is missing. I think they can do better and bring their ramen back to the winner they used to be. Service is pretty good, friendly and attentive. It is quite noisy at times due to the busy street and busses and can get pretty warm in the heat. Aircon inside of you can find a seat recommended on a warm day.
Thank you for helping us celebrate my mother’s birthday! The staff were lovely and very accomodating. Hope you enjoyed the cake as much as we did!
A very welcoming and open space at the front of the shopping complex and closest to the university. Ramen options are varied but a tad pricey for students and also compared to other ramen spots in Sydney. Still very delicious though. Very fast service via QR code ordering system
