Oh man, I should have read the reviews. The pictures looked great, and even look pretty good now. However whoever is doing the cooking has no clue what they are doing. The sushi has almost no distinction flavor, except the tuna one, which is honestly just tuna salad wrapped in rice. They use too much rice and too many ingredients in the sushi making it fall apart almost instantly, and they can’t even cut it evenly. The spring rolls had little to no flavor, even drenched in some kind of sauce, a sauce which made them extremely soggy and chewy. It might be because we had it delivered but sadly I think it isn’t great.
The food here is amazing!! Fresh quality food of good portion sizes. Especially have to go for the great lunch specials!! Ranges from $13-$16 per set.
Came here recently and was quite disappointed. The salmon lunch special was a good price $16, but the quality wasn't great. The miso soup was also terrible, it was so bland and practically water. Main disappointment was that we were dining in on plastic takeaway trays and condiments.
Unfortunately this place has changed, quality has dropped. I can tolerate a bit of delay but I waited for 1 thing for more then 30 mins, and when I took it home it was the wrong thing, I’ve ordered chicken karage udon but instead they gave me rice, it was dry with a few sad iceberg lettuce. Sorry but I won’t come back. Very disappointed.
We just came here to sample the ramen. We had really high hopes for this to be good as they had very clear distinctions on the menu regarding tonkaysu, shoyu and other base. Alas disappointed. The hospitability pretty much non-existent. The noodles itself is way overcooked and tasteless. The tonkatsu broth tasted like powder base with a heavy hint of garlic sauce but mostly tasteless. The chasu were overcooked chunks and somewhat sweetent to taste like it's been bbq'd but thats about it. There was a tiny square of seaweed to go with it. There was half a very hard boiled egg with no thought to it. We couldnt finish it.
