Arms Length strikes a confident balance between neighbourhood warmth & polished restraint. The room hums with understated glamour - dark walls, soft light, timber tables & just enough theatre to make the evening feel special without ever trying too hard. Service followed suit: our waiter was charming, attentive & instinctively paced, present when needed & invisible when not. The $85 shared set menu is generous, cohesive and intelligently composed. It opens with Iggy’s sourdough rolls, still warm, served with pistachio honey butter - a pairing that lands somewhere between comfort & indulgence. House-marinated olives set the tone, while stracciatella with cucumber, green grapes & macadamia delivered freshness, creaminess & crunch in elegant proportion. A chef’s selection of cured meats arrived beautifully arranged, followed by yellowfin tuna tartare sharpened with tomato & cornichons, the tapioca crisp adding a pleasing snap. Then came cavatelli with Italian sausage, broccolini & pangrattato: rustic, deeply savoury & satisfying in all the right ways. The standout savoury course, however, was the Coonamble Black Angus sirloin. Cooked with precision & served with a glossy peppercorn brandy jus, it was everything a steak course should be - rich, tender & almost impossibly melt-in-the-mouth. Shoestrip fries alongside were crisp, golden & entirely necessary. Dessert arrived in the form of tiramisu, a classic finish that knew better than to overcomplicate itself. The true wildcard of the evening was the Apple Bottom Jeans cocktail - a playful name for a seriously accomplished drink. Apple-infused whisky, citrus & spice were balanced beautifully, while apple popping pearls added texture & a note of whimsy. Clever, delicious & memorable. Arms Length understands that dining out is about more than food alone. It’s about atmosphere, rhythm, hospitality & those few standout bites & sips you’ll still be talking about the next day. On that front, it delivers with style.

They have a new spring menu launched! The service and food was amazing! We ordered all the savory dishes and 3 desserts. I higly suggest the Beef Arancini, Roasted chicken breast and the Flat Bread. The Baked cheese cake and the Canoli are the best as well! Will def come back here for more’ 😍😘

Came here to celebrate my birthday with my friends and it was the absolute best! Our waitress (Emma) was the sweetest and coolest. The set menu was delicious and it was nice to see they properly cater for dietaries (especially vegan) and send out lovely food for everyone. The wines were delicious too. Will definitely be back!

Booked online about a month in advance for two for the Wednesday night $25 steak frites and wine special and it was definitely worth it. The restaurant has a cosy, intimate atmosphere that made for a great midweek dinner spot. We were seated at a small round table with stools, which felt a little cramped at times, especially with the table behind us frequently bumping into my chair throughout the night. We also ordered the kimchi Brussels sprouts and honestly, they were incredible. I’m already thinking about going back just for those alone. The steak was cooked perfectly, though I felt the fries could have used a bit more salt. Overall, a really enjoyable experience and I’d definitely recommend checking it out on a Wednesday for the special.

Feels like walking home. A wonderful and value packed steak frites and a great happy hour. Was kindly sat infront of the fire place, made the whole solo dining experience exceptional. Will be back far more often.
