Had such a lovely brunch at Billi’s Cafe & Restaurant! The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour — especially the homemade spiced banana bread, which was absolutely delicious. The big breakfast was generous and cooked perfectly, and the Morning roll hit the spot too. Service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere made it a really relaxing place to catch up and unwind. Definitely a spot I’d come back❤️
I’ve been a local in the area for over 10 years and had been pretty hesitant to return here, as the place had been feeling tired for a while. I decided to give it another shot this morning, and I’m really glad I went back. It definitely feels like there’s been a change, possibly new owners, with new front-of-house staff and a noticeable improvement overall (except the decor, which I’m sorry to say, is still a bit dated). The service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and efficient. The coffee was a 10/10 — absolutely delicious. I ordered the morning roll, keeping things simple, and it was very well done. Everything was put together properly, not messy or falling apart. What really stood out was how accommodating they were with customisations — they happily swapped out the bacon for another option at no extra charge and said I could replace it with any side or extra on the menu. That kind of flexibility is rare and genuinely appreciated. Based on this experience, I’d recommend giving Billi’s Cafe & Restaurant a try. I’ll definitely be back for the coffee and keen to explore more of the menu to see what else has changed.
Billis Cafe & Restaurant is a must try for good qality coffee, delicious bites and amazing community vibes! All the meals on the menu was too hard to resist so my friends and I decided to share a few so we could try as many as possible 😉 We got the banana bread, hot sandwich, crab omelete, pear & ricotta french toast, salsa verde egg & avo and all was so tasty but if you're after something delectably yum I recommend the french toast! The toast was soft & fluffy and the pear & ricotta absolutely yum 🥰 With a vintage quirky interior and friendly staff with outdoor seatings it's perfect to bring your furbaby along 🐶
Interesting menu items, a bit of variety from your usual breakfast fare, without skipping the standard items. I wasn't happy that Chai mix powder was sprinkled in my brewed whole spice Chai. It cheapened it. I also didn't like the tea pot, tray and cup combo. Some places do a nicer job. I'd rather pay an extra dollar for a nicer set. Super impressed by the halmouni and egg burger. Not sure how "honey" it was. Big breakfast could ahve looked more impressive compared to other venues. We were seated at a table for two right next to another couple and it felt awkward having them so close to us. Good spot for people and dog watching on a Sunday morning. $58 for big breakfast, breakfast burger, latte and whole spice chai.
We had dinner at Billi’s last night and it was delicious!! The halloumi entree followed by the both the beef dishes on offer were all tasty and very satisfying. A lovely bottle of red that had been recommended topped off a great meal. Would recommend Billi’s for a romantic dinner or a meal with friends. Great location and very good value.
