Food was pretty good! We ordered some sandwiches and a rice bowl and was pretty full after. Ordered the dark chocolate dessert which took a while to come out. Enjoyed the kefir strawberry drink! Order the sambal sauce for the rice bowl it makes it pop!
In terms of food, Bill's always delivers. It is a good brunch, and you can always find something enjoyable for all type of dietary. Love how they do their hot chocolate: hot milk on melted chocolate and the brownie is delicious. They also happily accommodate children, which is a plus. It's consistently good and the service is ok. Not a wow place but somewhere you will always find good food.
Came here with high expectation but coffee wasn’t good, pancakes was ok, prawn pasta had no taste. Very disappointed, service was ok. We will not return.
I had a wonderful experience at Bills Double Bay. The food was absolutely delicious – everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. The hotcakes were as amazing as everyone says, and every dish we ordered was cooked perfectly. What really made our visit special was the outstanding service from Joe. He was genuinely warm, attentive, and professional throughout our meal. He made us feel so welcome, checked on us at just the right times without being intrusive, and had such a positive attitude that really enhanced our dining experience. It’s rare to come across someone who provides service with such sincerity and care. Thank you, Joe, for making our visit so memorable. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend Bills Double Bay to anyone looking for great food and exceptional hospitality!
Don't know what has happened to this once fabulous restaurant. Once my favourite. Service was excellent. My $45 Murray Cod was 3cms square in size with a few coriander strings on the side. A nice tasting sauce. And that's it. Excellent dessert. Im not certain I'll return again.
