This was our first time trying Korean porridge, and my wife really wanted to come here. We ordered the oyster porridge and waited around 10 minutes since the restaurant was quite busy. The seating area inside was a little small and cramped, but the food definitely made up for it. As expected from a Korean restaurant, the porridge was served with side dishes and a red sauce on the side. Honestly, I felt the porridge tasted much better after mixing in the red sauce but without it, the porridge was a little bland for my taste. The restaurant only gives a small amount of sauce at first, but you can ask for more… and I actually went to ask for extra sauce 3 times 😂 They should really give a bit more from the start lol. The oysters were cooked perfectly soft, fresh, and not rubbery at all. They were very flavorful and delicious. We were also served a plum tea (I think?) once during the meal, and I absolutely loved it. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience and will definitely come back again. I’m not sure if reservations are needed, but it’s a good idea to allow some extra time because the restaurant can get busy.👍🏻

Got the double abalone sauce juk and it was delicious! It tasted just like the juk I had in Seoul, which was a lovely surprise. Warm, creamy and comforting, it was the perfect meal for a cold, rainy Sydney day and left me feeling wholesome and restored afterwards.

Delicious congee and lots of flavours to choose from. Decent size so come hungry. I love the accompanying items that gives you a variety of flavours and texture to the meal.

The food here is absolutely amazing! I’ve been here twice now, and it’s so good that I just had to leave a review. On my first visit, I tried the oyster and mushroom porridge, which was incredibly delicious. The second time, I had the kimchi seafood porridge, and it was just as perfect. Every dish is served piping hot, which is absolutely comforting and perfect for the chilly Sydney weather right now. The flavor is top-notch. I’ve tried instant versions and tried making it myself, but nothing compares to this place! The atmosphere is lovely, though the shop is a bit small, so the seating is limited and you might have to wait in line for a bit. But trust me, it is 100% worth the wait! On top of that, the staff are super sweet and lovely. Highly recommended!

Came here with a friend and we waited for about an hour to get a seat in the restaurant. The place was so small, and hence the line for it. Though I was quite grumpy when the customers finally left the place and the staff took his time to clean the table for us. Everything tastes good after a long wait, hence I found the porridge delicious and flavorful to my liking. I got beef and mushroom porridge whereas my friend got the abalone sauce porridge. Our porridge came with side dishes and a plum tea with half cup filled, which was a tad strange to me. As we got hungry from waiting, we demolished our porridge in an instance. The portion was quite generous but not so much for the fillings. It was the condiment or sauce that made up the flavor for the porridge. Overall it was an experience as it was my first time having a Korean porridge. However, I was quite put back by the long wait. If I were craving their porridge again in the future I would probably get takeaway instead.
