Visited Burek & Grill in Cabramatta recently and overall the food was genuinely very good, which is why I’m still giving 4 stars. The quality and flavour of the food definitely stood out and you can tell they know how to make proper Balkan-style food. Everything we ordered tasted fresh, well cooked and full of flavour. The burek itself had a really nice crispy pastry with generous filling, and the grilled food was also cooked nicely without being overly greasy. The portions were solid and the food had that authentic homemade taste that’s hard to find at a lot of places nowadays. You can see why the shop has built a good reputation because when it comes purely to flavour, they do a really good job. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars was the customer service experience and the fact they had already run out of multiple food items while there was still around 30 minutes left until closing time. It was a bit disappointing arriving during advertised trading hours and finding limited options available. I understand busy days happen, but it would be better if stock lasted closer to closing or if customers were informed beforehand. On top of that, the lady serving us came across a bit rude and impatient, which took away from the overall experience. Nothing major, but friendliness and customer service do make a difference, especially when customers are spending money and making the effort to come in. That being said, the food itself was definitely the highlight and still good enough that I’d come back again. Hopefully next time the service experience is a bit more welcoming and there’s more food still available closer to closing time.

Amazing food and a wholesome atmosphere. Was recomended by a colleague to try Burek, a Sebian food made of type of pastry and different ingredients like feta cheese, spinach and meat. And also to try the Serbian Burger, not the typical type but more like a long bun with different types of ingredients, cabbage, sour cream, meat and other items. And WOW, it was great. I ordered a burger and one feta burek and one feta and spinach as in the picture. I ended up nearly eating it all and on the way home finished the rest. But to make things worse, when I was leaving I saw some freshly made sweet pastries come out and looked so good, it was so tempting to buy some but thought better to leave something new for next time. Burek and Grill will definitely be a regular stop for me now. Amazing food, family atmosphere and really nice and friendly workers.

This Burek was awesome, they young lady packed them for me and when she handed them to me I almost dropped the box they were that heavy and loaded! They tasted beautiful and very traditional I’ll be back for sure. Another one of those little hidden gems in Sydney’s outer suburbs

Hands down the best pleskavica roll I’ve ever had; soft, tender and not too salty. What a delicious find in an unassuming location
