I didn’t want to share the find but incredible eats, and not said lightly. This has got to be Crows Nest little secret for authentic, delicious and good-priced eats! Generous portions, and the taste of our Adobo ribs and Crispy Lechon was perfect. Would travel back just to eat here.

28/6/26 - 4 stars A pretty small Filipino restaurant in Crows Nest, but, actually pretty solid. We had a group of 11 and pretty much filled the whole place. Service is not the strong point here, but, it's good enough. The food is pretty authentic and decently tasty. It was a shame they didn't have several things on the menu such as the crispy pata and lumpia so would come again to try. Lechon Flavour: S+, 8.5/10. Texture: SS, 9/10. Very crispy skin and decently tender meat Value: S, 8/10. $77 for the big portion was actually not that bad. It's a bit too rich to have a lot of so better to share Sisig Flavour: S+, 8.5/10. Would have liked a bit more spicy and citrusy Texture: S+, 8.5/10. Again pretty good but some bits for burnt/stuck to the bottom Value: A, 7/10. $22.5 Adobo ribs Flavour: S, 8/10. Good but have had better. Not as umami and intense Texture: S, 8/10. Could have been more tender and juicy Value: B, 6/10. $28.5 Eggplant: B, 6/10. Mid. Not recommended. Bicol express: B, 6/10. Also very ordinary. Not worth

My husband and I went there for dinner (for the first time), but we were a bit put off, so we just got take-away. The waitress who greeted us had no idea about any of our questions. We weren’t sure what we were ordering. There is no BYO and they are not licensed (we think this is a mistake for a Crows Nest restaurant). For $55 we feel we didn’t get much value for money. My dish consisted of 5 pieces of pork (pork is quite nice) lots of white rice, a very bland “salad” of rocket leaves and a small sauce. My husband’s was pork in a peanut sauce, where the pork was very dry (nothing like mine) and the portion was small (about half a bowl, not enough for a grown man). I had to give him my rice. It came with a very sharp prawn sauce we didn’t know what to do with it, we had to Google it. We really think that this business would benefit from: having a genuine Filipino person greet people with a big smile and explain the dishes. Definitely BYO is a must. Servings to be more generous. We feel there must be a filipino salad that is a little more interesting than plain, dry rocket leaves. Less plain white rice. The pork on its own was nice, but not enough, and it was the only nice thing. We won’t be back, but you might be luckier than us !

The lechon here is absolutely delicious! They definitely don't skimp on the crispy skin, it's perfectly crunchy and packed with flavor. The serving size is generous and definitely worth the money. This is already my second time dining here, and the quality has been consistently great. I'll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Filipino food! 🇵🇭

Popped in at 8.50pm and they said they were closed. But I managed to twist their arm and sell me some Lechon with salad and rice to take away. May I say it was the best lechon I have tried in Sydney. The skin was definitely crispy and the meat was juicy and tender. Will be back for more. But this time, seated in the restaurant.
