As a vegan in Macquarie Park, it’s not always easy to find options nearby, but Charm Thai To Go has been a pleasant discovery. We’ve eaten there about three or four times now, and their deep-fried tofu puffs are actually delicious—even though we’re normally not big tofu fans! The Pad See Ew is also quite good, though we’d love a little more sauce and a touch of sweetness in the noodles. Overall, for the price and location, it’s a pretty solid spot. We usually get takeaway, so we can’t speak to the in-person atmosphere, but from our experience, it’s easily a 6 or 7 out of 10.
I am a foodie and a Thai food lover. This place is easily top 3 on my Thai list. I could see and sense chefs cooking with an intention to create a masterpiece soul food, convenient sitting stools and tables, and 20% cheaper than those nearby Macquarie Centre restaurants.
Good lunch option which is close to the office. Prawn Pad Thai ordered on this day which was good. Have had the chicken Pad Thai too which is good also. Did the Duck Pad Thai last week and that wasn’t as good, wouldn’t do the duck again. Need to mix it up and try a different dish next time I visit.
It wasn’t great but also wasn’t bad !! I ordered a lot of dishes to try: Massaman Beef = 1/10 Too watery and not much flavour. So sad because it’s my favourite Thai dish. I judge a Thai restaurant by how they make their Massaman Beef Curry .. so they did lose me tho !! Duck Spring Rolls = 3/10 Needs more duck but the sauce was amazing Pineapple Fried Rice = 4/10 Very nice Koo Wa Gai Noodles = 10/10 Absolutely amazing 🤩 Pad See Ew = 1/10 Didn’t like it at all - soggy and no flavour that is memorable I general !! Food didn’t look appealing somehow in terms of visual and taste … except that noodles tho
Great food with reasonable price. Share parking with nearby McDonald. I love their chicken Laksa, as chicken is very tender! The ice coffee is also good. It can be very packed during peak lunch time. So if you have a large group, better call and book a table in advance.
