Tried the Lamb Mansaf (large plate) at Chef Ivan Kitchen in Liverpool and it was an amazing experience! The dish came with a tender lamb neck piece, perfectly seasoned rice, topped with fried almond nuts and angel hair — such a unique and satisfying combination. The portion size was very generous, easily enough for two people to enjoy comfortably. At $35 for large plate, it’s great value for money considering the quality and quantity. First time trying an Iraqi dish, and was really impressed with the rich flavors and overall taste. Everything was well-balanced and delicious. Another big plus is that the place is open till late night, which makes it a great option for late dinners. Will definitely be coming back to try more dishes. Highly recommend!

My partner and I came in after hours and Chef Ivan still decided to be so kind and make us the best Mansaf we’ve ever had 💗 This by far is the most flavourful, thoughtful and hefty mansaf we’ve ever tried and included cucumber🥒, tomatoes 🍅, pickles, jalapeños, yogurt and more! Don’t even get me started on the lamb - so tender that it broke apart after a gentle touch. Also, the price point is AMAZING and really shocked us for the quantity and quality of food that we received. Super affordable! Thank you so much Chef Ivan, we will definitely be coming back! ☺️

We normally get his shawarma ,It’s really good but we ordered Something new 3 plates of Lamb neck with biryani it’s was so good and meat was tender. We order one of fish with rice was great for someone who does not like meat so you can get Fried fish with rice. All the food was fresh And he got on time. The owner he’s very nice. He care about people’s feedback if we did like his food or not . He always let us to try sample of his meat just if we weren’t sure if we liked it or not which is that was nice from him.

my first time trying iraqi food and chef ivan definitely made it special. i ordered the lamb platter and it is the juiciest, most tender and flavourful lamb i’ve ever had in my life 🙏🏽🙏🏽 he also ran out of rice and in exchange upsized me to a tray and replaced them with chips, saying it was his first time doing so… brother i think you should do it more often because the chips and the lamb together is phenomenal. i’ll definitely be coming back.
