We visited this wonderful place for a group lunch to celebrate a special occasion. It was perfect! The set menu was perfect and the BYO option worked really well for us as our friends have some great cellar options. I was excited about the Vitello Tonnato and I was not disappointed. Everything was perfect and the location is wonderful. Service was exceptional - despite the fact that we were most likely obnoxiously loud and disruptive. The only very minor complaint I have is for the tiramisu. It was quite boozy which overpowered the coffee and it tasted like the marscapone was mixed with cream or the balance of marscapone to egg was off. It was a so-so tiramisu.

Had lunch on this Sat. The staff were all very friendly. We had the winter special course. The food was great - can't fault any dish we had, from starters to desserts. Very happy to be there on a beautiful day for lunch

We booked for and had the "Winter Warmer" menu, a significantly reduced cost 3 course lunch. The only thing that was reduced was the price...the food, the service, the atmosphere was all excellent. We were warmly welcomed, served in a timely manner, not rushed through, but at a comfortable relaxed pace. Our waiter was very attentive and found time to stop and chat in a very engaging manner. Simple things, like the complementary bread are done so well. The bread, sourced from Somona, is a wonderful sourdough, that Chiisco then put in a hot oven before serving, to ensure the crust is beautifully crunchy, while retaining a soft moist centre full of flavour...served with a delicious South Australia olive oil. We enjoyed all the courses from starter to dessert.

We tried to book Ormeggio but they don’t open on a Monday so were recommended trying their little restaurant next door called Chiosco which we did. more laid back and relaxed in fact probably more our style than Ormeggio. The whole experience was enjoyable with great views across the bays delicious food and top service. Well done.

All we can say is OMG. Friends of ours booked a specials night and everything was perfect. Location, Staff, friendliness, service and the food was amazing. The northern beaches are spoilt to have this restaurant and while it was busy (no wonder) it felt like a local secret. So shhhhh keep this place as your local spot if you live nearby or keep it in mind as a surprise with friends the next time you need a great restaurant experience.
