This restaurant offers an absolutely stunning view of the opera house and evening-to-night cityscape, breathtaking at every hour. The food is excellent: the salt & pepper calamari is crispy and perfectly seasoned, and the dry aged black Angus Ribeye on bone is juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The staff provides attentive, thoughtful service throughout the meal, making the experience even more enjoyable. A wonderful combination of great views, delicious food, and top-tier service. Highly recommended.
Fantastic dining experience! The food was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The location near the Sydney Opera House made the atmosphere even more special, with incredible harbour views. The staff were attentive and welcoming, and the service was excellent throughout. A great spot for a memorable meal in Sydney. Highly recommend!
Very cool bar, really comfy outdoor seating area with a prefect view of the Opera House. Staff were really good too. And they had a $10 pint special, which is great for a bar in that location. But unfortunately it was really let down by the food. My mate and I both ordered the fish n chips. Portion size was HUGE. But the fish was so unseasoned and bland that it was quite hard to eat. Batter was too thick. Neither of us finished our meal. Now, I don't want to disparage the full menu because of one dish. The rest of the menu might be great. But the fish was poor.
Stayed for drinks. Great atmosphere, nice music, excellent and attentive service and a fantastic view. Cruise ship was in the way, which we knew about and departed to reveal an amazing view of the Opera House. Well worth a stop for afternoon drinks with a great vibe. Booking recommended on busy occasions.
We visited Cruise bar and restaurant on a balmy Sunday evening and loved the outlook ambience and attentive service we received. When we booked we had kind of expect to be seated upstairs but this area was closed. Our only complaint about the downstairs low lying tables that those eating pasta found them hard to eat that type of meal from without making a mess. Food wise what did disappoint unfortunately was the temperature of the food that was served… both pastas and my steak were luke warm at best when they arrived to us. The only dish that arrived warm seems to be the chicken parma… which had us thinking all the other dishes must have been waiting on the pass for an absolute age before being sent along with the parma. Definitely a disappointment temperature wise but still good flavours and we still enjoyed our time at Cruise overall.
