We found this place on First table as we were visiting the area and it was really really good! The food was so so yummy and the waitstaff were super lovely. Would highly recommend. We had the samosa, scallop, butter chicken, saag, korma and garlic cheese naan. All of it was delicious and we finished everything!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely outstanding Indian dining experience at Curry Wise! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the staff and impressed by the inviting atmosphere. The menu is extensive and thoughtfully curated, offering everything from classic favourites to unique regional specialties. We started with the Fish Amritsari and Tandoori Mushroom – both were beautifully cooked, packed with flavour, and served fresh. The Butter Chicken and Goat Khada Masala were standouts – rich, aromatic, and cooked to perfection. The naan selection was incredible (especially the garlic cheese naan!), and the Mysore Masala Dosa was authentic and satisfying. What sets Curry Wise apart is not just the quality of the food but the attention to detail and genuine hospitality. Everything tasted homemade, with just the right level of spice and seasoning. Another big plus is the easy parking. You can park at West Ryde Shopping Centre, just around the corner – 2 hours free parking, which makes dining here super convenient, especially in a busy area. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine in a warm and welcoming setting. We’ll definitely be back!
First visit here and we really enjoyed it. Food was excellent. We ordered starter share plate, chicken tikka masala and half a tandoori chicken with garlic naan and basmati rice. Very generous portions, decent flavours. Chef (owner) very courteous and came to greet us and checked on spice levels before cooking. Highly recommend
I don’t know why this place was not packed at all, the food tastes so goooood. We had Goat biryani, Tandoori chicken, onion and kale fritters, dahi puri and they didn’t disappoint us. With a lil kick of extra hot chilly sauce (not kidding with the spice rating), it was too good to taste the authenticity of the flavours! The pictures may not do justice but I assure you the taste will! Only bummer is they did not have pani puri :/
I ordered garlic naan with curry, but the naan felt like frozen naan that was just reheated 🥲. The edges were rock hard and the middle was still uncooked. The service was also very slow — once I waited almost an hour for a small order ⏳. I ignored it at the time, but the next day my gums were hurting because the naan was hard like a stone 😣. Very disappointing experience. 👎breaking sounds says everything
