Had dinner here last night with two others. We were greeted warmly the moment we walked through the door. Staff were friendly, attentive and food was fabulous. We had the pizza special, which was Marinara Burrata pizza, the Linguine Alle Vongole, Risotto di Mare and Affogato for dessert. All delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant. Great to have such a nice restaurant close by! Will be back !

Il Posto is an amazing pizza spot! The crust is perfectly thin and crispy, and the ingredients taste fresh and high quality. I tried the margherita and mushrooms pizzas—both were excellent. The atmosphere is cozy, the service is fast, and the staff are very friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it!

We just tried it for the first time yesterday, love it and we’re so happy! Finally an Italian restaurant that we don’t mind returning to. My husband and I enjoys Italian food and used to try different restaurants around the city, but there wasn’t really one that we ever feel worth spending the money on or want to return to. And thanks to Google, we found this place and it’s so close to our home. Service was great especially by the boss haha - young guy! He recommended lasagna and my hubs was like mm okay. So I ordered that and my hubs was like wow, when he took the first bite. Cos he’s never had lasagna so soft and thin (in terms of pasta sheet)! And he took the first bite of arancini and was like, surprised face, “unique”. We’ve had quite a lot of Italian food so for my hubs to give these comments, that’s actually really rare hahaha. I mean I don’t find it mind blowing since I’ve tried lots of good food in Italy, but the food we had including the pizza was genuinely good! Only bummer is I would have loved the arancini on its own. And we were seated right where the pizza is served so the waiters would come right behind me all the time. But it was nice to see the pizza made right next to us. Chefs were very friendly too. Would definitely return - thank you for the amazing food and service 😄

Absolutely amazing authentic Italian food, great value. Took my family after new owners took over and loved trying the specials.The staff were attentive. Will definitely be visiting again and recommending friends

We got discounted table, very good service, Italian speakers bring an intimate vibe to the overall dining experience. Good enough to recommend with or without discounts. I like this place a bit more than the Italian places nearby in Putney. Not the best Italian food ever in the inner west, but no complaints, nothing super special, but still quite good.
