Honestly, last night at Elliot’s was such a refreshing experience. I went with a group of friends and we decided to do the set menu instead of à la carte and WOWWW, it was phenomenal from start to finish. Every single dish was absolutely spot on. What made it even better was how accommodating the staff were with our vegetarian and vegan friends. They happily made adjustments without making it feel complicated at all, and everyone left genuinely happy and impressed. The whole vibe felt so warm and welcoming. The cocktails and wine selection are seriously good. If you go, definitely try the Tequila Mockingbird, it’s their signature and honestly one of the best cocktails on the menu. And even better, it’s part of happy hour too, so you can get a few for a really good price. The staff were super attentive, knowledgeable, and just really passionate about what they do. It didn’t feel like “just dinner” it felt like a real experience. Haven’t had a night out like that in a long time. Definitely coming back. This is officially my new favorite spot in Balmain.

I had lunch at Elliott’s recently and it was a really pleasant experience. The restaurant has a lovely outdoor seating area, which was perfect on a sunny day. Sitting outside made the whole lunch feel relaxed and enjoyable, and the atmosphere was great for catching up and taking your time with the meal. For the main, we ordered the Portuguese chicken and it was definitely the highlight. The chicken was cooked really well crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The flavor was delicious and nicely balanced, not too heavy but still very satisfying. You could tell it was prepared with care and the texture was just right. The overall vibe of the place was calm and welcoming, and the outdoor space makes it an ideal spot when the weather is nice. It’s a great place to go for a casual lunch, especially if you enjoy sitting outside and enjoying the sunshine. Overall, it was a lovely lunch experience with good food and a nice atmosphere. The Portuguese chicken is something I would definitely recommend trying. I would happily come back again to enjoy another sunny lunch and try more dishes from the menu.

Omg! Best steak of my life! Music inside was relaxing and perfect! Service was the best ever! I love this place! the menu change since my last visit was for the best! Highly recommended, and complimentary Limoncello for my partners birthday was much appreciated. What a restaurant!

Enjoyed a lovely dinner at Elliot’s recently. We opted for the $80 banquet menu and glad we did. The chef did all the work for us! We had a range of fish and meat and some veg options. We couldn’t pass the croissant cheeseburger so we added that to the menu. Overall we left feeling quite full and very pleased with our experience. Each dish was carefully prepared. It was nice that some of the dishes were individually portioned as when sharing it can get messy and difficult to portion size yourself. The drinks were great and the staff were the perfect amount of attentive and engaging. Thank you for a lovely night Elliot’s. I’d recommend you in a heartbeat.

Had an incredible night at Elliot Balmain. The ambiance is superb! The food was excellent across the board, with standouts including the aged sirloin steak (cooked to perfection), the white anchovy on toast, and the raw tuna. And don’t skip the very unique limoncello tiramisu. Big shoutout to the restaurant manager, Ricky, his wine knowledge is next level and he nailed the pairings. Exceptional service, fantastic food, and a beautiful setting. Can’t wait to come back!
