Fish barrel: They have two main foods - the fish barrel, where you choose a soup base, fish and add ingredients not dissimilar to a hot pot, in addition to multiple dishes on their menu. They have an amazing sauce station, with 15+ sauce and topping choices to make your desired dipping sauce. They also have self serve grass jelly as a cool refreshing snack, as well as orange slices and prawn crackers. For the fish choice, we just went with Snackhead Fish Slices - basically standard fish slices. I was gonna give 5/5 because the concept and taste is really good but I think charging near $50 for fish slices is a bit much. For the soup base we got fish soup with mild chilli peppers - this is the recommended one apparently and it has a good balance of mild spice, umami, slight saltiness and clear broth to not feel too greasy after the meal. That is one thing I love about this place compared to regular hot pot. Dish: Signature sauteed shrimp ball in garlic sauce - this was really good, highly recommend you try this. Rich and creamy sauce coated shrimp.

We were intrigued by the fish barrel and tried the lunch set menu for 2 person. We chose mushroom soup base with snakehead fish (half)/grass carp slice (half) and two sides. Fish were tender and crispy and the soup was savoury (could be better without MSG). After finishing the fish, we cooked vegi plate and meat like hot pot. They also have a self-serve station for sauce and fruit. Will try other things next time.

Great experience and food. The service was prompt and friendly, and the food was outstanding—great value and packed with flavour. The barramundi with ginger and shallots is a must-try and highly recommended.

The food was wonderful especially the fish. I really liked the atmosphere as it was modern. All the fish that they served were extremely fresh and were from a tank. The waiters were really kind

Sep 2025 3.5 stars overall. First experience at a fish barrel restaurant, which is similar to hot pot except the broth is poured into a massive barrel. Then from there you put in your raw food. It’s a good family restaurant and if you add $3 pp, you can use the counter to have unlimited sauce. The usual type of sauce you’ll find at hot pot restaurants. Prawnchips and jelly ( not recommended ) were also included in the counter. Lunch set for four is the best for cost performance @ 88 dollars. It included fish meat and your choice of meat and veggies.
