I recently had a disappointing experience at Grill'd, paying nearly $40 for what turned out to be a terrible meal. I ordered 10 chicken tenders, and not only did they miss pieces of chicken, the tenders were also small (very small) in comparison to the original size tender and burnt. I spoke with the manager on January 29, 2026, who seemed understanding and assured me that he would note my concerns in the book for follow-up and for the issue to be rectified and to re attend the next day. I returned around 9:20 PM, my experience went from bad to worse. The young female working behind the counter was abrupt and rude, claiming that we were disrespectful to her and was not understanding or wanting to help with the situation and said “I can’t do anything, I’ll have to write it on the board”. She refused to provide her name for escalation and walked away when I attempted to address the issue. We expressed our frustration of having to drive back all the way to the venue for the second time and being told that we would have to come back for the third time to rectify the issue was really disappointing. When trying to speak with her again after being ignored, she quickly turned away, further avoiding any accountability. Overall, I was extremely dissatisfied with both the food quality and the service. I won’t be returning at all. They have lost a paying customer.

Unfortunately, today’s experience was quite disappointing. The dining area was not clean, with dirty tables and food left on chairs. Asking for napkins and cutlery felt like an inconvenience rather than a normal customer request. I’ve always enjoyed the food here. The burgers are fresh, not overly greasy, and you can tell the ingredients are of good quality. The vegetables are fresh and the buns are always soft and fresh as well. There was also confusion regarding the Monday promotion, where customers who spend min $20 and have a winning team receive a free burger. What should have been a simple process became unnecessarily complicated, and the interaction felt reluctant and unwelcoming. What disappointed me most was the overall atmosphere. None of the staff greeted us, and everyone seemed unhappy and disengaged. It’s a shame because the food is good, but the service and atmosphere did not match the quality of the meals. I hope this feedback helps, as I would love to see the customer experience improve.

My burger from GRILL’D Dee Why was absolutely delicious! 🍔🔥 I ordered the Bonfire BBQ burger and a few other things (including a beer of course 😁). One thing I loved — you can actually choose your burger bun, which I think is a great idea! Also, ordering everything via mobile was cool! You get an estimated time for your food and it just feels smooth and smart. The staff were super friendly, and my order came out really fast. Definitely one of my top burger spots now! Will come back for sure. 🙌

It was my first time trying Grill’d and I was trying it because it looks so healthy so I walked in with low expectations in terms of taste but it was so good! Amazing burger and fries were perfect! I got the beef burger and regular fries…also the chili sauces are amazing on the side.

Grill’d Dee Why has been our family tradition for years now, and we couldn’t recommend it more! The food is always fresh and delicious, we especially love the Vegan Beyond Burgers, which are hands down the best around. What really makes the experience though is the team. Patrick and the staff are always welcoming, friendly, and go above and beyond to make sure every visit feels special. It’s rare to find a place that gets both the food and the service so consistently right, but Grill’d Dee Why nails it every time. A true local favourite, thanks Patrick and the team for making it such a great spot for our family!
