this h and c take away in fairfield heights is a cracker because it is the best spot for a quick charcoal chicken or a burger when you are on the tools. the pepole working there are legends and they always give you a massive serve of chips so you are never leaving hungry which is a win. the shop is always clean and the food is fresh and hot every time with no dramas at all. it is way better than the big chains because they actually care about the quality and the service is top notch. definitely the go to spot in the heights if you want a decent feed for a good price without waiting around forever.
Proper old school Aussie take away. Great burgers awesome chips and gravy! Cheap as well
First time I've come here in about 15-20yrs and it's still the best! I love how all the flavours are the same from the 90's late 80's eating here today just flooded me of memories from when I was a kid eating here Best chips the sort that go great with vinegar or on a bread roll, Potato scallops are still fresh and crunchy, and I have never been able to find a potato scallops like this, And the original crumbed chicken drum stick still good as ever. With the way fairfield heights has changed over the last few years (and not in a good way) It's great to see this place staying original and still thriving. Keep up the great work we will definitely be back
After years of coming here, I'm disappointed that they couldn't get my order right. I had a small debate with the lady about ordering a crumbled fish thats on their menu as she made me a battered fish and chips. You cannot go and change the customers orders and charge them extra when it pleases you. It's a shame really and not to mention that the chips were so undercooked it was still raw potatoes on the inside
Best fish and chips in Sydney! Been going here from the eastern suburbs for years. Can’t beat them. Better than “Rock and Sole” in London. Save yourself the airfare and get your fish and chips from here
