We had our Easter lunch at Homer Cronulla today. Food was delicious. More than I expected after reading some reviews. We had loukaniko + halloumi flatbread, plain flatbread & taramas as entree. I love everything! But I must say the loukaniko + halloumi flatbread was outstanding. For mains we had organic chicken souvla, Kirries Pastitsio & Lemon potatoes. All cooked perfectly. At this point we started to realise we ordered too much for 2 people, but we order a dessert to share anyway. Glad we did because the Baklava choc ice cream was so good. Staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.
My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary there. We were advised by the waitress that the plates were intended to be shared and that the servings were smallish. Perhaps they were. To be honest though, one of the breads, a couple of guts and souvlaki and we were full. The food was exquisite and our waitress was lovely.
Delicious, comforting, authentic flavours. Everything we ordered was very tasty, we were especially impressed with the two breads. Service was friendly and relaxed, allowing us to take our time. It is definitely a reminiscent experience to dining in Athens. Looking forward to returning.
Awesome lunch at Homer. I booked it for my birthday and was looking forward to trying the restaurant. I even asked my Greek boss for tips on what to order and knew what I wanted before we got there. It did not disappoint! We had the sausage and halloumi bread, tiny shrimp, rooster cigars, smokey pork, fish in rice and greens, and lemon potatoes. Everything was delicious. The bread was smaller than I expected but was enough for 2 of us. Shrimp were perfectly fried to crispy perfection. The cigars were full of flavor. The pork was juicy and well charred. Both the fish and potatoes were tangy and lemony. We ended up taking food home cuz we could finish them. The service was fast and friendly. Would highly recommend and go back again.
Phenomenal food. One of the very best I’ve tasted in all of Australia. Lamb ribs, pork belly and lemon potato… so juicy tender and flavourful, no words, only emotions😍 the fried squid was good too. Would come again and again!
