I visited ILEOKJO Korean Restaurant with my friends, and we had an amazing dining experience. The seafood was incredibly fresh, especially the sashimi and oysters, which were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The grilled squid was perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The portions were generous, and every dish looked just as good as it tasted. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. We all had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for fresh seafood and delicious Korean cuisine in Lidcombe!
Absolutely excellent food and experience! Fresh cut sashimi with sauce and vegetables, everything is just perfect. Unique Korean style sashimi dishes, different from typical Japanese sashimi, more flavourful and more of an experience. There are lots of signs and posters in the shop for teaching and recommending different ways to enjoy the sashimi, which I think is a pro. Also, have to say the price is unbelievably beautiful, compared to what we have.
Korean restaurant with fresh sashimi and seafood. The sashimi was good quality, tender and tasted quite fresh. The salmon/tuna/kingfish slices were great. The oysters had a slight fishy tinge , would be better with an extra lemon wedge. The scallop sashimi was sweet, loved that. Medium platter was a decent amount for 4 people. The japanese-style oden nabe is basically just a stew with various fishcakes for $42… The beef tartare was actually quite nice, they had these little seaweed bits and rice balls which you can wrap with the beef. The service was pretty fast.
Fantastically delicious! Outstanding side dishes and food quality. First time trying the Korean sashimi, the shiso leave is quite unique but merges really well with the fish. The soup is pricy, but you do state that it is freshly cooked and not from a seasoning package. Will 100% be back!
The fish is soooo fresh. First time finding a Korean restaurant in Sydney that specialises in seafood! (for reference they only have 10-20% non seafood options on their menu). Their signature sashimi set comes with perilla leaf which is a very different take to what you usually find in Sydney and very delicious!
