Very bad service. First we stupid to get seated. Then were seated and not informed how to order. We then saw the QR code and ordered from that. It had been over 25 min before we called someone over and asked what was happening with the lack of food/starters. They stated that because we had ordered from the QR code it was delayed. It was frustrating because we didn’t get anyone come to our table to advise us of this and no one even gave us a bottle of water for the table. Frustrating. I’ll probably get take away from this place next time. Because the food was great. Excellent food but def not worth the service disappointment.

Italian food is always a safe choice, and overall we had a good experience at Italian Street Kitchen Parramatta. The ambience is nice, the restaurant looks great, and it has a lively atmosphere. We tried the gnocchi and a pizza. The pizza was definitely the standout for me, with great flavour and a well-made base. The gnocchi was enjoyable too, although I found it a little too buttery for my taste. The food quality overall was good and you can tell they use quality ingredients. The only downside was the service. It wasn’t bad, but it was surprisingly difficult to get the attention of the waitstaff even though the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy. The music was also a bit louder than necessary, which made conversation slightly harder than it needed to be. That said, we still enjoyed our meal and would be happy to come back. Good food, a nice setting, and just a few small things that could make the experience even better.

Quality Italian food in a lowkey location by Parramatta River. We came for a quick and casual dinner and had these: Prosciutto Pizza - adequately topped with prosciutto, rocket, Parmesan. The base was tomato and fior di latte cheese which actually I could taste. The ingredients speak for themselves on these types of pizzas and they were undoubtedly good quality. The crust was beautifully crispy on the bottom and sides, not hard though, and definitely not a floppy pizza. Gnocchi Napoli pasta - seasoning was definitely there. Parmesan for the saltiness which contrasted the creaminess of the stracciatella and Napoli sauce. Decently cooked gnocchi; they were firm but not hard yet also not mushy soft. I also really enjoyed their Parmesan Truffle chips. These were loaded with a heaping of Parmesan, with a subtle truffle flavour. Perhaps a good thing that the truffle flavour was subtle and not overpowering. Dipped in aioli. Service was up to par. Unfortunately did have to sit outside on a coldish day but that just speaks to the popularity of this place even on a weekday evening.

Where do I start ? Portions - average to small. Entrees are definitely on the small side. Pastas were ok but was a bit dry and came out like warm. Pizzas were also ok. The cost of a coke was $6, I use this cost to benchmark the value of a restaurant. Test - would I go back ? Probably will not for some time .
