Our family of 4 went on a Wednesday night for dinner. We ordered 3 entrée and 4 pastas. The bluefin tuna capacious was delicious. So as the grilled Savoy cabbage with anchovies and truffle oil. The mentaiko spaghetti had a touch of sisho flavour was my favourite. The yuzu seafood spaghetti had a kick of chili flavor which elevated the overall taste. The chessy cream sauce of the sea urchin spaghetti was a bit too strong for the sea urchin. The blue crab risotto was nice execpt the fish roe had made it a bit salty for me. We finished off with a matcha tiramisu and hoji creme brulee. I loved the creme brunette as it had roasted buckwheat on top which added extra crunch to the dessert. Overall, it was an enjoyable dinner.
Our son, who just turned four years old, and we are huge fans of this cozy Japanese-inspired Italian restaurant. First of all, Ken-san, the owner and chef, warmly welcomes families with children, making us feel so comfortable that we keep returning, even on weekends. Secondly, our son truly loves his kids' pasta and always eats it eagerly! Most importantly, the food and wines are exceptional—allowing us to relax and enjoy ourselves thanks to the generous kids' play area during dinner. We’ve visited several times and have always been delighted by this wonderfully kid-friendly and delicious Italian restaurant. We look forward to coming back soon!
Had dinner here with a friend. The menu is written on the wall and can't remember the exact name of dishes. But we chose well, everything we ordered had the flavours as the chef intended. The only minor thing for me was the octopus was too salty for me. I love the oyster dish and the brussel sprouts was a nice surprise because I don't usually eat it. Tiramisu for dessert had to happen of course. Service excellent!
My friend and I came here and ordered the octopus karaage, duck terrine, white bait pepperoncino, sea urchin cream spaghetti, matcha cheesecake, and hojicha crème brûlée — and everything was amazing. The octopus was perfectly cooked and not chewy at all. The duck terrine was delicious and didn’t have that typical strong pâté smell. We were also pleasantly surprised by how generous the portion of the terrine was. The white bait pepperoncino tasted like my mum’s cooking — very comforting and spot on 🥹 The uni spaghetti was rich and flavourful. For dessert, my favourite was definitely the hoji crème brûlée 🥰 We really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be coming back!
This is one of the most underrated restaurants in the neighbourhood!! Food deserves a 5 🌟 in the Michelin Guide !! What a pleasant surprise 😮!! Been there with 2 friends yesterday. Can't tell you how much i liked it! Service was Japanese level !! Food was really unique and tasty ! I had a lemon grass tea too, that was also one of the highlights!! Came in a wine glass, very fragrant and tasty !! We had the salmon capacious, the code roe spaghettis and the Chicken Teriyaki. Fell in love with the pasta ! Just go !
