I ordered a takeaway pizza at 4:30pm by the phone, as the website ‘app’ has no cash payment option. I picked it up, no dramas (though the kitchen staff did look at me like I had three heads when I wanted to pay cash) great pizza. Then at 5:15pm wanted to order another pizza and the lady who answered this time was different (French or Italian accent) was quite rude repeating to order by the website, and then the manager said they were now too busy and to come in. It was one standard meat carnivore pizza (no special requests) I was treated like a nuisance and not a valued customer. I understand during peak periods it does get hectic but the attitude from 45 minutes earlier was light and day. I also understand they were fully booked hence ordering a takeaway pizza. I am surprised they don’t make it easier for those customers who want to pay directly as it avoids merchant fees or whatever cut the ‘me&u’ app takes. Not coming back, due to the rude lady and the deficient online ordering platform which is disappointing as the pizza was good.
