restaurant with yum cha trolleys. Still around! The service was attentive and friendly. The kitchen accomodation some of my more exotic yumcha wish bites (very grateful) the big kid loved his jelly cup, but the egg tarts were the stand out. The "soh" pastry was so flaky it melted in your mouth leaving only the rich creamy egg custard.

$49 for 2 cans of coke and 3 spring rolls and 2 short soup that wouldnt feed an ant. To be fair my review is based on a hair is my wife's spring roll and then another hair in her short soup. Maybe invest in some hairnets for yoir servers and kitchen staff. Otherwise it tasted good until but put off after discovering our side dish of hair. For the price and serving size not happy at all will not be coming back.

We usually come here for dim sum, but this time we tried dinner and loved it. The standout was the pipi with fried vermicelli. So tasty with ginger, garlic, and chili, and the crispy noodles were a perfect match. The hot pepper steak came sizzling in a cast iron pan and was full of flavor. Sweet and sour pork was good too, just a bit heavy on the batter. Beef stomach was as delicious as always.

Drove down to Hornsby and discovered this hidden gem. We tried the salt n pepper squid, crispy prawn dumplings, crispy scallop and prawn dumplings, soy sauce noodles and Shanghai soup dumplings (forgot to take a photo) Everything was absolutely delicious and so fresh! Staff were very friendly and fast service. Will definitely be back 10/10

On 27 January 2026 at around 11:30am, my colleague and I had lunch at this restaurant. While eating the dish “Pork Ribs with Black Vinegar”, we discovered a fully cooked fly inside the dish. Because the sauce and the dish are very dark in colour, we had already eaten one or two pieces before noticing it. This caused serious nausea and distress to both of us. We immediately called the owner (a middle-aged to elderly East Asian man) to report the issue. His response was extremely disappointing. He questioned our claim and insisted that “the fly must have just flown in.” I pointed out that the fly was clearly cooked, which would not be possible if it had just landed. He then said “I didn’t see it happen.” I responded that there is a surveillance camera directly behind us, which could be reviewed. At that point, he had nothing further to say and only offered to remake the dish. This response showed a lack of responsibility, food safety awareness, and basic customer care. For transparency, I have already reported this incident to NSW Food Authority. Both my colleague and I are willing to formally testify to everything described above. I encourage anyone who has had a similar experience to share it here. Food safety is not negotiable.
