First time at Jules (visited in late April 2026). It was an incredible food experience! No dish could be faulted, a master chef type quality dishes! Sophistication of the dishes presentation, everything perfectly seasoned (sorry, except for the parmesan truffle fries, which were slightly too salty, but not a problem as next time we will simply mention it). It was an amazing feast for our taste buds! Kudos to the Chefs! Staff were super friendly and always available, attentive, caring, helping with water etc. Food was also served pretty fast (perhaps as we were the first ones of the evening, but we found service overall to be superb!)The only tiny issue I had was with adjusting the music volume and lights at some point, in the middle of our dinner. Everything was so perfect when we arrived at 5.30pm - nice music, toned volume, very well balanced lighting. But then, someone from the staff arrived and started to crank up the volume and played with the lights, dimming them. Sorry, I had to intervene, as I hate when the music interferes with our conversation and I absolutely hate to eat if I don't see what's on my plate! This got kind of rectified, but the lighting stayed somewhat dimmed and a bit too dark to my liking. A small issue and it is not impacting my score 5/5. The dishes were to share (we were 2 couples), we tremendously enjoyed ALL the dishes: potato rosti for entrance, halloumi, grilled octopus, king prawns, Angus beef, duck breast fillet, lamb skewers (a mind blowing dish of the evening for us and we asked for a repeat!!!), parmesan truffle fries, Basque cheesecake and and affogato. We cannot wait to be back to repeat those and try some others. We will definitely be frequent diners at Jules Ah, forgot to mention, I booked the dinner for my birthday, and when we ordered this delicious cheesecake it came with chocolate "Happy Birthday" wishes, so I was really pleasantly surprised! In summary: Bravo Jules!!!
This charming restaurant tucked behind two larger restaurants is a true hidden gem of the Canopy Sydney. We ordered a full seafood-themed selection (Scallops, Octopus, Prawn, Crab dumplings), and every dish exceeded expectations. The flavors were fresh, beautifully balanced, and perfectly prepared. A wonderful find that we’ll definitely return to.
Today we visited Jules for my partner's birthday celebration. The restaurant's ambiance was quite upscale, and the open bar and open kitchen view gave us confidence. We ordered a variety of Entrées and main courses, and not a single dish disappointed. It was very satisfying for the price. I especially recommend the Sesame Prawn Toast, Seared Scallops, Crab-Prawn Dumplings, and Grilled Octopus. We arrived before the restaurant got busy, and the chef made an effort to serve the next courses at our pace. We appreciate that dedication. We will definitely visit this restaurant again and highly recommend it to those who haven't been yet.
This place is truly a hidden gem in Lane Cove. I visited alone, but the staff welcomed me with such warmth and friendliness that I felt completely at ease. Along with the excellent service, the food left a strong impression on me. From the oysters to the snacks, entrées, mains, and even the desserts, every dish went above and beyond my expectations. Each plate was perfectly seasoned and cooked with great precision. The prawn toast, in particular, was unforgettable. I’ve tried many versions in Sydney, but this one is by far the best. The outside was incredibly crisp, while the filling inside was juicy and full of flavor—it made me genuinely happy with every bite. I enjoyed it so much that, as you can see in the photo below, I finished all eight dishes by myself. I simply couldn’t stop. I’m already planning to return soon with friends so we can try the other dishes I missed this time.
To celebrate me and my husbands yearly anniversary today. It was our second visit here and was always on top with their cooking. Their new menu duck breast that was recently added gave a lot of suprises in the taste pallet very tender and juicy. All the food we had was at a very high quality with top notch service. Thank you for making our night! Will be back very shortly again!
