We tried a wide range of dishes at Khan Restaurant in Auburn, and it turned out to be a solid desi food spot with authentic flavours. We started with the Chicken Biryani, which had a nice aroma and balanced spices—fluffy rice with well-cooked chicken, not overly oily. The Beef Nihari was rich and slow-cooked, with deep flavour and tender meat that paired perfectly with fresh naan. The highlight for me was the Balochi Karahi—full of bold, traditional flavours with a nice desi touch. The Lamb Rosh was another standout, beautifully cooked with soft, juicy meat and simple yet satisfying seasoning. For sides, the Dal Maash was comforting and well-seasoned, a great option if you want something lighter alongside the heavier dishes. The Naan was fresh, soft, and perfect for scooping up all the curries. From the BBQ, the Seekh Kebab and Chicken Tikka were both nicely grilled with good smokiness and spice balance. Ended the meal with Gulab Jamun, which was soft, warm, and a perfect sweet finish. Overall, a great addition to Auburn’s food scene—good portion sizes, authentic taste, and reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving proper Pakistani-style food.

It’s been a long time since our family has been able to enjoy authentic, delicious and affordable South Asian food!! I don’t write reviews often but this one felt well-deserved. Our meal was so so scrumptious and we’ve left with both our hearts and our tummies full! 😍 We will CERTAINLY be back. Thank you so much, Khan Restaurant team!
First time trying Pakistani food and it honestly blew me away. The flavours were rich, authentic and unlike anything I’ve had before. Every dish we ordered was full of flavour and the portions were generous too. Service was friendly and the staff were happy to explain the dishes for a first timer. Definitely glad I gave this place a try and I’ll definitely be back.
We order chicken biryani and tandoori chicken , tandoori chicken was okay but the biryani is worst . Bad experience
