Loved the fact that my food was served on a literal conveyor belt! Overall, the food was good, and the service was great as well. This experience definitely checked a box off of my bucket list!

Loving this place. This is a hidden gem in gateway. Very underrated! They even have omakase experience which you need to pre book in advance. They are having a winter special menu for ONLY $98, you get appetiser, edamame, sushi platter, tempura and grilled fish!!! Very value for money!! Their large sashimi platter is ONLY $66 for 30 pieces of sashimi ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

Overall nice sushi with caveats. On weekends there's a special where all standard plates are $5. However some things may not be available on the day and unfortunately the scallops are halved. Uses brown rice and quite strong on the vinegar. I like it but others might not.

Decent sushi option at Gateway Sydney, but not outstanding. Kokumai Sushi has a modern and sleek atmosphere, and the service was friendly. The sushi was just average and not premium. Prices were reasonable. Overall, a solid choice if you're in the area.

Dissapointing service, good quality food in a busy location but way over priced. This Japanese conveyor belt restaurant is in a premium location and tried to charge premium prices. The food quality is good but definitely not worth the prices they are asking for. Service was ok in the front of house but the kitchen staff was clearly untrained. I saw plate after plate being placed on the pass and suddenly forgotten. The docket is spiked before the wait staff could run the food out and so there is confusion with the orders. A lot of food is taken to the wrong tables. Handrolls were between $15-$18 each. Tea $5 pp. Softdrinks $7.50 each bottle. .
