Hidden Gem with sensational views If you like good views and food then this restaurant is ideal for you. Views to the harbour bridge excellent. . Inside The View Hotel an easy walk from North Sydney train station is this hidden gem. We went on a Groupon deal 2 courses but I noticed it has happy hour, and specials on its menu for two or three courses anyway. Food very good and generous portions I also liked the timing of the way food came out not rushed out but timed beautifully. Let’s be honest not many restaurant get that if you are out to dinner you are looking to have a nice evening you don’t want to be in and out in an hour!!Drinks list reasonable. We had a table along the window mostly tables for two and fours. Other seating with a few singles and for small groups. Bathrooms good. Recommending this restaurant. Went here through a Groupon deal. We were excited for French/Mediterranean food. I thought that it would be a classy night with great food. The view is really lovely, especially at night when the Harbour lights up. Our waiter was fabulous, and I loved the Cocktail 🍸 that he recommended. The food was pretty average sadly....good value for the price but I guess I was expecting more from the look of the place, the view etc. We chose the Calamari, (better at most takeaways), were a little underdone, and could have been plated much better, the Twice Cooked Pork. There was no crispy skin (except where theyust have tried to torch a bit of it), and it could have been left in for at least another half an hour, but hubby enjoyed it once he added some salt. We also have the Duck, it was very soft, and the beans were cooked perfectly. For dessert we had the Creme Brulee....the top wasostly soft with uncaramalised sugar toffee which was disappointing,.and the custard was quite sweet....but it was still yummy, with lots of little vanilla speckles. Also the Brownie which was a bit stodgy, but was also very chocolatey and went down quickly with the Dolce Deleche sauce and cream
They have different menus for a Groupon costumers and I am not very happy with the food selections. The salad is bad and the barramundi is combined with bake beans 😞. But the service I gave 💯 . Staff are very friendly.

Modern cuisine dishes are outstanding and can be paired with a selection of fine Australian and international wines. The restaurant provides stunning views of Sydney Harbour making it an ideal spot for a romantic dinner or a leisurely meal with an incredible view. Highly recommend!
Came in for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The food was solid and full of flavour, and the portions were generous. The service was the highlight — friendly, fast, and genuinely attentive throughout the meal. The atmosphere is a bit plain and could use a little more warmth, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. I’d happily come back for the great service and good food.
