Delicious. I don’t like falafels after 38 years of dry sad balls of unhappiness but like everyone else has attested these are nothing like anything else. Soft and creamy and pita is super fresh. As of Feb-26 it was $8 for one. Absolute cracker!

If you are looking for sydney’s best falafel you won’t get it here… Not only is the Sydney’s Best Falafel, this has to be the best in Australia. Great hospitality and the falafel wraps are some of the best balls of goodness that i’ve eaten… ever. but you have to be very careful coming here because once you eat a falafel here… you will not enjoy anyone else’s falafel’s.

North Qld girl here... I’ll be honest — I rocked up to Malaak Baghdad fully prepared to say “yeah it’s good, but overrated.” Instead? I was completely humbled. That falafel deal is unreal value, and the falafel itself… crispy, fluffy, seasoned by someone’s very loving auntie — genuinely the best I’ve ever had. I’m now suspicious of all falafel I ate before this because clearly I didn’t know what I was doing. If you’re thinking about going: go. If you’re doubting the hype: stop. If you love falafel: congratulations, you’ve found the one.

Malaak Baghdad Restaurant serves some of the best sandwiches in Sydney for the price. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the sandwiches are made with fresh ingredients and are seriously large… great value and very satisfying. Highly recommend stopping by for a visit.
