Love this place and really happy Lidcombe has another vietnamese food option. The portions are generous, the quality is good and consistent and good service and atmosphere. We have now visited a few times and enjoy it every visit. We now enjoy this place more than the other options in the area.
We’ve now visited this new Vietnamese restaurant three times, and it’s quickly become one of my go-to spots. The consistency across each visit has been impressive, both in terms of flavour and service. My absolute favourite dish is their bún chả. The balance of smoky grilled meat, fresh herbs, and that perfectly tangy dipping sauce just hits every time. It’s the kind of dish you start craving again not long after you leave. I’ve also tried both their chicken pho and beef pho, and they’re both solid choices. The broths are clean, rich and comforting without being too heavy. I also love the smokiness of the rib in the rib beef pho. On the drinks side, I highly recommend their matcha cloud drink. It’s light, slightly creamy, and not overly sweet—really refreshing and a nice change from the usual options. Overall, it’s a place I keep coming back to, which says a lot. Great food, reliable quality, and a menu that makes it hard to choose just one favourite.
A small, new Vietnamese restaurant in Lidcombe—and after three visits trying different dishes, I can confidently say you won’t find anything better in the area. The staff are friendly and actually care. What I don’t get is some of these ridiculous reviews. People complaining that staff wear gloves while serving food, clearing tables, and handling payments—seriously? Are your lives that miserable that you have to be this harsh on a small business that just opened? From what I’ve seen, FOH staff use tongs to handle herbs and bean sprouts. Yes, they might use the same gloves to serve and clear tables, but leftovers are picked up with fresh tissue, and anything dropped on the floor gets swept up. What exactly are you expecting—fine dining, Michelin-level protocols at a casual local spot? Let’s be real: most restaurants operate like this, and many are way worse. The only reason this place is being picked apart is because it’s new, small, and has an open kitchen, so suddenly everyone thinks they’re a hygiene inspector. You order food, scroll on your phone, then use your bare hands to add herbs into your bowl—and somehow that’s “clean”? Give me a break. Maybe stop nitpicking and bullying a new business, especially when times are already tough.
The Vietnamese restaurant Lidcombe has been waiting for!! Authentic and delicious, generous portion sizes and great fit out - ample space for couples, small groups and families. Have been waiting for a good Viet spot on this side of Lidcombe. Pho is fragrant and packs flavour. Crispy chicken skin was cooked perfectly - juicy on the inside with a nice crunchy skin. Looking forward to trying all items on the menu.
Such a lovely experience here😋 The food tastes super authentic, just like home. The crab fried rice was sooo good - fragrant, flavorful, and the portion was honestly huge for the price. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, made us feel so comfortable. Definitely one of those places I’d come back to again and again 💛
