Absolutely one of the best mandi spots in Sydney. The lamb was incredibly tender, juicy, and fell straight off the bone, while the rice was perfectly seasoned and packed with flavour. The portions are massive, so it’s great value for money. The sauces and fresh salad complemented the meal perfectly, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. If you’re craving authentic Yemeni mandi, this place is definitely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Absolutely unacceptable. This was my first time ordering from this restaurant online, and it will definitely be my last. While eating the rice, I found a hair mixed into the food. That is beyond disgusting and completely inexcusable. Ordering online should not mean lower standards, yet this experience showed a serious lack of basic hygiene and quality control. I immediately lost my appetite and couldn’t continue eating. For a first impression, this was awful. Finding a hair in food is something no customer should ever have to deal with. Very disappointing.

After a long day at uni, Mataam Al Mandi was just what I needed! Rocked up at 3 pm for what ended up being a massive feast (basically brekkie for me, haha). The food was absolutely incredible—huge portions, full of flavour, and just so satisfying. The lamb was the real MVP—fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with spices that hit the spot. The chicken was good too, but honestly, the lamb is where it’s at! The rice, sides, and sauces tied everything together perfectly. The staff were super friendly, and the vibe of the place is really chill. Whether you’re with mates or just looking to treat yourself, this spot is a must-try. You definitely get your money’s worth! I had a good experience at Matam Al Mandi in Auburn. The food was flavorful and freshly made, especially the Mandi rice and meat — cooked perfectly and well-seasoned. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were polite and attentive. It's a great spot if you're craving authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. Would definitely visit again!
