I ordered Chicken Chowmein and Veg Momo. Veg momo was decent standard but, for chowmein I told them to put mild spicy. When the order arrived, Chowmein was super spicy. I went to ask if they have a tomato sauce to make it sweet. They don't have it. Instead they did not respond vey well and didn't even apologised throughout the conversation. Being a Nepali, having such behaviour is pretty disappointing. Done with Mayalu Street Food for future orders.
Great location and awesome services. The price was affordable with ample of foods selection option. Mostly recommended !!!
It has a great taste good service very near to our stay jst 5 min walk. Veg non veg both options are available.
The laphing was honestly one of the worst I’ve had. The flavour and texture were far from authentic. What was even more disappointing was seeing it marketed as a traditional Nepali dish when laphing originates from Tibet. The same goes for momo, which also has Tibetan roots. Cultural foods deserve accurate representation, and unfortunately this experience missed the mark both in authenticity and taste.
I had a great experience at Mayalu Street Food in Hurstville. The food was authentic, fresh, and full of flavour—definitely one of the best places for Nepali street food around the area. Everything we ordered tasted amazing and reminded me of real street food back home. The service was also excellent. Krisha at the counter was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. She made the ordering process smooth and made us feel comfortable right away. Her positive attitude and great customer service really added to the overall experience. Highly recommend this place if you’re in Hurstville and craving delicious Nepali street food with warm hospitality!
