Mokshya Lounge and Bar in Auburn is a fantastic Nepali restaurant with a great atmosphere. The service was excellent, and the whole place was neat, clean, and well maintained. It’s a big restaurant with everything you need, making it perfect for friends, family, or group gatherings. The food was delicious, and the lounge setup is amazing with a nice pool table, snooker table, and a well-stocked bar. Everything about this place was impressive and enjoyable. Prices are a little bit on the expensive side, but the quality, service, and overall experience make it totally worth it. Highly recommended, and I would love to visit again.

A beautiful and calming Saturday evening with a delicious dinner and playful live music that created the perfect atmosphere. The singer was fantastic, we truly loved his soothing voice, which added something special to the night. The service was excellent: attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. A wonderful experience overall.

Extremely disappointing experience. We waited more than 40 minutes for our food, only to be served one of the worst Thakali Khana Sets I've had. The meal felt incomplete, poorly prepared, and lacked any authentic flavour. There was absolutely no aroma, no freshness, and nothing appetising about it. The side dishes were bland and tasted like they had been made without any care or attention. The presentation was unappealing, and the entire meal felt rushed and thrown together just to fulfil the order. After such a long wait, I expected something worthwhile, but it was a complete letdown. I only ate it because I was very hungry. Otherwise, I would have left most of it untouched. The quality did not justify either the wait or the price. Definitely not returning and would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a good Thakali meal.

Extremely disappointed by the food here. I'm sorry to say this but it was just so not worth the overhyped price. We ordered Choela which was like a cold version of cooked chicken, no spice no tossing, not even average choela taste. Chatpate was so red in colour but no flavor and over salty. And finally, when we thought the Thakali we ordered would make us convinced a little bit, the chicken curry was tasteless and undercooked. In addition to this, we experienced bad stomach pain and loose motions next morning. My humble request to business owner, please take care of your food menu, it's taste and hygiene. The price is over hyped, and the food is not up to its expectation. Only because it is a Nepali Restaurant, we didn't complain it to the Food Authority over experiencing the food poisoning.

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. From the beginning, we clearly informed the staff multiple times that we wanted to enjoy our drinks first and would let them know when we were ready for the main course. Unfortunately, our request was completely ignored. Despite being very clear, they brought out the entire dinner set before we had even finished our drinks. It felt rushed and ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing dining experience with my wife. We specifically said we would inform them when we were ready, but it seems like no one was paying attention. This lack of basic communication and service awareness was extremely frustrating. Dining out is not just about the food, but also about the experience — and this was far from acceptable. Very disappointing service, and definitely not something we expected. I was planning to enjoy a few more beers, but had to stop because the food was already on the table. We then had to rush through the meal to avoid it getting cold, which made the experience even worse. Very frustrating service and not what we expected.
