★★★★☆ Great Ambience, Generous Portions & a Very Enjoyable Experience We visited Moonlight Restaurant in Liverpool for a business lunch and overall had a really enjoyable experience. The restaurant immediately gives a good impression very spacious, beautifully presented, clean and tidy, with a relaxing ambience. We started with their traditional tea, served in a beautiful traditional pot, which really added to the experience. The tea itself was fantastic full of flavour and definitely one of the highlights of our visit. For the main meal, we ordered the mixed grill platter. The chicken shish tawook and lamb grill were excellent tender, flavourful and cooked to perfection. The serving was very generous and came with three dips: hummus, baba ghanoush and garlic toum, all of which went really well with the grilled meats. The minced meat kebab, however, could use a little fine-tuning. We found it slightly on the dry side and felt it could be juicier and have a bit more seasoning and flavour. The other grilled meats set a very good standard, so improving the minced kebab would make the mixed grill even better. We also learned that they have entertainment on weekend nights, including singers and belly dancing, so I can imagine the place having a completely different and lively atmosphere in the evenings. Overall, Moonlight is a great addition to Liverpool’s dining scene. The restaurant already has the space, cleanliness, presentation and ambience going for it. If they continue refining the food and bring even more bold, authentic flavours that really ooze out of every dish, this place has the potential to become the talk of the town. A very enjoyable experience overall and definitely worth visiting. 4 stars from us, with plenty of potential to go even higher.

First impressions: a divided venue, not by décor, but by a lingering indoor smoking section. Our non-smoking table came pre-styled with charming burn holes in the chair. Drinks were a lucky dip. The Sav Blanc was delightful. The ordered Chivas, however, was a no-show; just a lonely glass of Coke arrived. The ‘lean’ lamb chops were fatty and overcooked, devoid of flavour. The Mansaf’s lamb shank was seasoned, but sat aside dry, lukewarm rice. Yes, portions are huge—but quantity can’t camouflage disappointment. Generosity isn’t a substitute for quality. Left full, but deeply underwhelmed.

Visited this restaurant for the first time today. The meat skewers were very well seasoned and marinated; the meat was tender and juicy. I loved the spicy batata kezbara. One thing I would suggest is to add some salad to the mixed grill. There are lots of dips which could be reduced; in return, just a large spoon of any salad would be perfect. Prices is normal, ive paid more elsewhere and quality was lower.

Amazing food and great service! Everything was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Definitely one of the best experiences at Moon Light. Highly recommend 🤍

What an incredible experience! The food was absolutely amazing, full of flavour, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was delicious and authentic. The entertainment truly made the night unforgettable. The atmosphere was vibrant, energetic, and had everyone enjoying themselves from start to finish. The combination of fantastic food, great music, and outstanding party entertainment created the perfect night out. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout the evening. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy authentic Middle Eastern cuisine while experiencing a fun and lively atmosphere, I highly recommend this restaurant!!
