I visited the Castle Hill store today and ordered a fried chicken rice takeaway. Since I work nearby and only had a short break, I decided to eat a few bites at one of the tables before taking the rest with me. To my surprise, a staff member approached me and told me I couldn't eat there because I had ordered takeaway. When I asked why, she explained that if I wanted to dine in, I would have to pay an extra $0.50 for the takeaway container. I've never experienced anything like this before. It was incredibly embarrassing to be asked to leave over 50 cents. Instead of focusing on customer service and building loyalty, this business seems willing to lose customers over such a trivial amount. I work nearby and could have become a regular customer, but after the way I was treated, I will never return or recommend this place. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for the experience. The fried chicken rice had very little chicken, the portion was disappointing, and the overall quality was below average. Customer service should make people feel welcome, not humiliated. This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had.
Sensational! I love eating here. Authentic, yummy and just great
Very decent Chinese restaurant located inside Castle Towers. We ordered the pork pan-fried bun dumplings, eggplant pan-fried dumplings, and soy sauce beef dumplings. The dumplings were excellent — juicy, flavorful, and especially the pork ones, which had a soup-filled taste similar to xiao long bao. The beef fried rice was also good — not too salty, nicely balanced with vegetables, and the beef was tender and velvety. Overall, a satisfying meal with quality dumplings being the highlight.
I absolutely loved the pan-fried pork buns! If you’ve got a picky eater, you can’t go wrong with the options here as what we ordered were all delicious! Large portions are good for sharing so we ended taking some home to have in the next few days. Will visit once I get a chance to go to Castle Hill again
Worst dumplings i had. Drinks were from cordil yucks! Fried rice was bland no taste, the beef and chicken in the fried rice no corn stough like most chinese restaurants do. Wont recommend
