Our little North Shore excursion led us to this modern Southeast Asian spot in Mosman. Highlights: Twice-cooked beef ribs: Melt-in-your-mouth tender. The panang curry was perfect, but my only complaint is we needed MORE of it for our roti! Tom yum corn ribs: Obsessed. These packed a serious punch. Lamb cutlet: Perfectly cooked, but the REAL star of the show was their house chilli oil 🔥 What a kick, loved it so much I ended up adding it to everything. It's a small, cozy spot full of creative twists that actually delivers on flavour. A solid find in our rare trip up north.
We left super full and satisfied from Onice! We ordered the beef rib cooked with Penang curry, the lamb cutlets, the scallops and the tuna tartare - all were cooked to perfection. Each had such unique flavours, my favourite ended up being the lamb cutlets and their house chilli sauce. Vibes were great and the service was superb.
To our surprise it's a tiny restaurant with only 6 tables, 4 of two, one of 3 and a 4 people inside the restaurant. This is the second time I am here for dinner on a week night. Food is okay , service with no warm, table is so tiny and prices is far too high for what they offer. Quite disappointing again.
When I say I was blown away, I truly mean it! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was incredible. We were seated near the kitchen and the aroma alone had us instantly excited for the food to come. We definitely ordered a fair bit — but wow, every single bite was worth it. The flavours were absolutely next level and everything on the menu was packed with taste. Honestly, there’s nothing I would change, it was all amazing! The service was just as beautiful too — so warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout the whole experience. Overall, an easy 10/10. Can’t wait to come back!
This is a new restaurant in Mosman and we visited on Friday evening. We did book ahead and suggest you do the same. We have shared few dishes and felt they were good size. Definitely recommend crispy pork salad and fried rice with prawns. I’m one of those people who loves pineapple on pizza but found it unnecessary in this dish with fried rice. Luckily it wasn’t too much of it inside. Young lady that took care of us did provide great service. Overall it’s a good addition to Mosman after we lost Japanese restaurant that was making a good food for years on the same place. Will definitely come back to try more dishes.
