Highly recommended. Since it opened last month, I always come to here for my diner after work. Kind staff and the meal is very delicious. Price is not expensive, definitely worth the money!

Good food and friendly service. The staff took the time to explain how everything works, which was helpful. Portions are generous and the ingredients taste fresh. The pork and chicken were fried perfectly—crispy but light. The noodles are a bit plain, but they go well when mixed with the mains. A solid experience overall

Absolutely amazing new Chinese restaurant “Oriental (东方)” in Newtown! We had such a wonderful dining experience here. The food is genuinely delicious — full of comforting, authentic Chinese flavours that instantly remind you of home cooking, but with a refined touch. Every dish we tried was well-balanced, fresh, and full of taste. You can really feel the care and passion behind the cooking. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and welcoming, making it perfect for both family dinners and catching up with friends. So happy to see a place like this open in the neighbourhood — it’s truly a hidden gem in Newtown! Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back again and again. Wishing the team all the very best and continued success! 🌟
