Had a lovely meal here last night. The octopus and gnocchi were delicious. Also had the fabulous tiramisu, which has a yummy crunch on top. Would recommend. We had a table at the end as booked late but otherwise would give atmosphere 5 stars as well
When we first walked in, there was a strong and unpleasant smell of fish and rubbish, which isn’t the best first impression. Unfortunately, we couldn’t cancel our booking without being charged $50 (there were 3 of us), so we stayed. That said, once seated, the experience improved significantly. We were warmly greeted by a friendly Kiwi staff member with an incredible smile and great energy. The music was spot on and really set the mood, and the food was genuinely delicious I was impressed by how well everything came together. The drinks were the only letdown. While good Italian wines were used, the cocktails themselves weren’t overly great and didn’t match the rest of the experience. The pricing overall was fair for what we ordered, but next time I’d stick to prosecco. Toilets were clean, staff were lovely throughout, and service was welcoming. Parking is limited due to beachgoers, so I caught an Uber instead. I’d definitely come back for the friendly staff, great food, and excellent music just hoping the drinks and first impression improve next time.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We hosted our Christmas party with a group of 12 people and the experience was absolutely amazing. The service was impeccable from start to finish, from the warm welcome to the very end of the night. A special mention to Mr. Vini, who was extremely attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect for our group. The food was outstanding — I highly recommend the pork belly, incredibly juicy with a crispy skin like I’ve never seen at a restaurant here before. Simply delicious! The drinks were excellent, very well made and full of flavor. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back! 🍽️🍸👏
Lovely Italian just off the main road next to the Coogie Oval. Food solid with good flavours and decent portions, Tuesday and Wednesday pasta and vino for $35 is great value. Great tiramisu!Service can be a little slow when busy and not many staff covering tables but the staff are very cheerful and friendly
What a wonderful dining experience. From the moment we arrived we felt so welcomed. The food was excellent-especially the beef carpaccio; calamari with a stunning squid ink bernaise type dipping sauce. We also shared the yummy seafood risotto and went home incredibly content. Great wine list by the glass and bottle. Loved starting off with the rose bubbles. Service was so personable- the chef even came out with the risotto dish himself and we all chatted about food. We will definitely be back. Still lovely going in winter with heaters on the balcony and nice look over the park.
