This restaurant seemed to be quite well received by the locals and the tourist. When we were seated in the restaurant, we saw at least 3 pairs of Japanese tourist inside. Plus, the locals had seemed to enjoy their meal. And we did try their pancake since it is their signature dish. Of course, we were not disappointed with the dishes and taste great. It is also comfort to know that we can make payment directly upon ordering via QR code.
Pancakes lovers alert! Legendary Australian diner famous for its all-day breakfast, savory crepes, and signature pancakes stacks. Casual dining, best for family & friends, and perfect for late-night cravings. Opening 7.30am to midnight, on some days till 2am. This is the place to satisfy both your sweet tooth for pancakes & savoury crepes cravings. Top favourites Devils Delight, Chocolate pancakes with chocolate ice cream, fresh strawberries, and cream. Besides pancakes, they do serve salads, main dishes, fries & chips. Good range of drinks too. Online order & payment, hassle free. Had passion fruit chiller and ribeye steak that came with salad & potato wedges, it was average. Steak lacking beefy taste & not seasoned at all. Salad only has a hint of vinaigrette while wedges are on the salty side. Did not have a chance to try their pancakes hope to find time to do it.
The taste of the pancakes appears unchanged! It's still as good as the last time i had back in 2018. I would recommend all those in the pictures. Staff are very friendly. They even helped to prepare candles when we said the pancakes were meant for a birthday treat. They have relocated the restaurant to a more spacious spot. On top of that, they open another very close to Paddy's! If you are lazy to go The Rocks, go to the one near Paddy's. Totally worth the price!
Came here with some of my mates for breakfast and had a good time. Pancakes were really nice. However, I had asked for extra ice cream in my pancakes and they brought me my pancakes with the ice cream missing. Overall food still good. Staff kept people waiting at the front for quite some time before seating people even though many tables were open. Still a good experience there.
We had pretty good food, but despite saying they could take your order, no one ever came by so we used the web site. The salads were good. One chicken Caesar salad had a couple of small black leaves, but was mostly otherwise fresh. The eggplant pizza was very good as well. The fancy pancakes with ice cream were the highlight though and the rightfully fullfil hhrig name in a noble fashion.
