Excellent food tho. Pork sliders and chicken were dry. But both desserts were soooooo goood!!!!!
The restaurant bar has a 90s pop culture style, with many posters on a raw industrial brick wall. The service is great where staff attending us regularly, checking with food and chatting with us. We had all the Mariscos cold dishes and they're all infused with chilli oil with great aroma. Recommending beef Corazon with a nice chard taste and refreshing green sauce. And the Causa and Ceviche are made very fresh, must try as entree.
This has easily become one of my favourite places to dine. Such a gorgeous cozy space. Wonderful staff. Speedy service, and no rush to get out. My TOP THREE DISHES: 🐠 The Ceviche is phenomenal. So fresh I had to drink the sauce left on the plate. 🧀 Don't sleep on the Haloumi Slider. Such a unique menu item. Simple balanced flavours. 🐚 And the Scallops were melt in your mouth incredible, buttery goodness. We didn't have a single bad dish, and the cocktails were light and fresh. An absolute winner.
We got the set menu. I particularly enjoyed the scallops, the sliders and the chicken skewers. The duck rice was rich and delicious too. The corn whisky was such a delight!
Honestly, if it’s your first time trying Peruvian food I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant, even though it’s run by a Peruvian, the proposal is a fusion which makes the menu interesting but! It’s not authentic Peruvian cuisine. I have to rate the food 3/5 stars because of this and because it didn’t take me back home. It’s just about preferences. I ordered 5 dishes to share: Tiradito, Leche de Tigre, pan con pescado, corazón and setas. I highly recommend the setas, they were really good! I also recommend Tiradito but, unfortunately the fish was warm and as a cool dish I felt like it needs to have some freshness. Pisco Sour was just okay, 3/5. The waiter was very nice and friendly!!
