Over the weekend, my partner and I were craving something warm and hearty to keep us cosy. We decided to check out Pho Sam, conveniently located in the heart of The Canopy. Since we’ve got a Vietnam trip coming up, it felt like a fitting local stop to get us in the mood. We ordered a mix of dishes, including dim sum pho noodle soup, tomato rice with pork, and a side of Vietnamese spring rolls. The standout was easily the tomato rice with pork, packed with flavour, well balanced, and not overly salty. This was definitely our favourite of the day. The dim sum pho unfortunately lacked depth and didn’t quite hit the mark flavour wise, but adding the sauces on the table helped bring it to life. The spring rolls were tasty with good flavour, though slightly on the dry side. Overall, Pho Sam is a solid option if you are in the area and craving Vietnamese food.

very impressed with the quality of pho here as a Vietnamese person. I ordered the brisket beef pho and it was ready in under 5 minutes. The broth was piping hot, the way I like it to ensure the food stays warm throughout eating. The noodles were soft and there was a good amount of beef. They also gave a generous size lemon wedge and just enough bean sprouts. This is good quality southern vietnamese style pho. I will go here again when I am away from Pho An in Bankstown

Great place if you want to be in and out. The soup could have been hotter in temperature. Felt like we had to scoff it down as it was getting cold quick. Flavour wasn’t bad! Will come back to try a few other items on the menu.

Yummy. Can't ask anything like this for $20 in Sydney. And the staff was kind enough to accommodate the chicken soup on side.

I have had a few laksa in my days and this was one of the best. Delicious Combination Laksa and spring rolls. I can't wait to return to have it again. Also friendly staff and quick service.
